PHOTOGRAPHY
Simon’s love of photography begun early. Growing up, he took full advantage of the dark room in the basement of his childhood home. His career started in London, working with advertising and creative agencies as a graphic designer. He progressed to art directing photo shoots, then assisting professional photographers, before freelancing in Paris with a short sint in New York and then finally branching out with his own photography practice in the UK.
Now an experienced photographer, he has travelled the world with his camera, providing eye-catching shots for advertising and marketing campaigns and cross-platform publications. His main body of work consists of reportage, documentary, portraiture, landscape and travel.
Clients often want photography as part of a moving image campaign. Simon can Direct the film and shoot the photography, keeping the output looking consistent throughout. Together with his team, he can manage all aspects of a project, covering the planning, logistics and deliverables and he has an enthusiasm for shooting and developing analogue film photography, while embracing new digital technology.
Simon’s work has been featured in multiple publications and in a variety of mediums. These include; Vogue UK, The Sunday Times, Wallpaper, bus stops and billboards across London, websites, annual reports, magazines and photography exhibitions. A series of his portraiture photography has even revolved around the digital screen at the top of BT Tower for all of London to see. Simon has been long-listed for the prestigious Wildlife Photographer of the Year award, with his series of abstract landscapes.
